Have you ever gone on vacation to an amazing beach haven that had everything you wanted – White sandy seashores, sunshine, panoramas, fun, shopping, fantastic dining establishments, and when it came time to leave you thought to yourself, “oh, if I could only stay here !?” Well, maybe you can. Contemplate investing in, renting or leasing in Santa Monica, and you too can live in a spot much of the rest of the world visits on their holiday retreat.
Dwelling in Santa Monica can feel very much like you are going to some far off holiday spot, but you can be a simple drive via car or, very shortly, the Metro train to, say, your job in downtown L.A. In some cases you can ride your bike or just walk to any one of several enterprises that have located workstations in Santa Monica or some other adjacent west side location. Santa Monica is also a 25-minute cab ride to Los Angeles International airport.
I often think of Santa Monica as a great year-round resort town, with most everything I really enjoy. It seems a lot of other people think so too, including a lot of world travelers who journey professionally, evaluating towns, retreats and hideaway places. One example is National Geographic magazine. Not known for easy commendations, they voted Santa Monica “One of the Top Ten Beach Cities in the World”.
